Waternish Reviews

Emma
We absolutely loved this cosy little cottage! The views are stunningand the beds are super comfy. The kitchen has everything you needand the hot tub was a real treat after a long day walking. Plus, the wifi upgrade meant we could finally enjoy Netflix in the sunroom. Perfect for relaxing weekends!
Sam
We had a lovely stay on Skye. The cottage's location is spot on, with constantly changing views of the sea and surrounding isles from the conservatory - honestly, it's breathtaking. The hot tub was a real treat after exploring the island. As others mentioned, the house could do with a few updatesand there's no starter wood for the fire, so don't forget to bring some. The broadband is quite slow, more like dial-up, but honestly, the scenery more than makes up for it. We'd definitely return!

The location is lovely with stunning views, but it's a bit neglected and could do with some fixing up. Two bedrooms lack wardrobes, which is a painand the hot tub faces the road, so privacy isn't great. Still, we enjoyed our stay!
Emma
We had a wonderful stay at this charming little cottage. It's perfect for exploring the north of Skye, with fantastic views from the porch no matter the weather. We loved visiting the Stein Inn and trying out the Yurtea coffee shop at Skye Skins along the Waternish Peninsula. Dunvegan was close by with a good shop and some nice eateries. Swimming at Coral Beach and Orbost Beach, plus a quick dip at the Fairy Pools, made our trip really special. Highly recommended!
Oliver
We really enjoyed our stay here! The scenery was stunningand the hot tub was perfect after a day of walking. The garden being dog-proof was such a relief, no worries about the little one. The kitchen is functional but could do with a bit of an update. Overall, definitely recommend and we'd come back for sure!
Emma
We loved the peaceful spot on Skye, with stunning views from everywhere - the conservatory, hot tuband downstairs bedroom. The cottage is charming but could do with some small repairs, like fixing the broken fence panel to keep the dog secure.
Alex
Absolutely loved staying here! The views are breathtaking and the cottage was cosy and spotless. The peaceful vibe of Skye really comes through in this spot. We'll definitely be returning - it's the perfect place to unwind and soak up nature's beauty.
Emma
The views from the cottage are absolutely stunningand we found the place warm and cosy, with really comfy beds. The WiFi worked well, which was a reliefand it was a nice surprise to find towels provided. We did struggle with the hot tub on our first night because it was too cold and quite darkand the water was even colder the next morning. No phone signal either, so we had to get creative with YouTube tutorials to fix it. Luckily, by the second evening, we managed to get the hot tub working and even had a fire going after buying some wood. Overall, a mixed but mostly enjoyable stay!
