Beachview, Oldshore Beg

Beach View House was absolutely beautiful the view was truly picturesque and even better than the photos! The house had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, and every detail was thought of. It was peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the sea views. Would definitely love to stay again!

This isnt a Holiday house, but a home. We felt warm and cosy and had a great time in Beachview. We loved to sit in the Hot tub and enjoyed the views of the beach and meadows and sheep. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We plan to come back in summertime.

Beautiful property, in a stunning location. Fully equipped with utensils and equipment that exceeded our expectations. Unreservedly recommend.

Fabulous property in an amazing location. Everything you could need only point would be more towels would be great especially with the beach so close and the hot tub. Look out for deers on the hills at night and if you get up early enough for a swim you might also spot the dolphins. Remember take some smidge for the midges and take antihistamines if like me your flare up with bites from them and horse flys. Will definitely return.

Beachview is in a stunning location. The views are tremendous. Would have given it 5 stars but was let down by the fact there was no washing machine. My friends and I go away for a week every year and generally dont do laundry except for maybe dish towels, however on arrival there was a note saying the washing machine had broke down and they were waiting for a replacement and would keep us informed. It wouldnt have been an issue if they had provided us with extra towels. Be aware you dont get provided with separate towels for the hot tub! Only 1 large towel each and a hand towel. We contacted the caretaker mid week to ask for an update as our towels were needing washed and were told to take our washing to the village to get it laundered. We ended up buying travel towels out a shop in Durness for using after the hot tub. It wouldve been better if the listing stated hot tub towels werent provided and we could have brought our own. Some of the decking is broken and could be a trip hazard if not careful. The kettle in the kitchen leaks when you pour it. Could do with better lighting in the living room main light is too bright and small lamp not bright enough Great facilities, well stocked kitchen, plenty games and entertainment if youre stuck inside thankfully we had good weather. Loads of space, plenty seating and upstairs rooms all have view of the beach. This is the most expensive property weve stayed in. You are really paying for that view. Would definitely return though with extra towels.

The house is fantastic , very spacious with a view from every window . Couldnt ask for a better location . Our wee dog had a ball . The hot tub is great , we sat in there at night watching the stars . Just glorious! Only down side is its bit expensive for the area !

Beachview is a lovely comfortable holiday cottage set in a perfect location for those who enjoy peace and quiet along with lovely scenery. The hot tub is a bonus after the walk to and from Sandwood Bay beach. The kitchen is very well equipped with modern facilities. The only recommendation we have is that perhaps the owners would consider putting a small welcome pack for the visitors teacoffeemilk just a gesture. We would say that the cottage is easy to live in and flows very nicely good vibes!

A very well looked after property and the Kitchen very very well stocked with pans, saucers and plates and much much more. The views and peace and quiet are second to none. The locals very friendly and a facilities a short drive. One recommendation Fish and Chips in Ullapool, well worth the drive. Would definitely go again.

Excellent property, the house is large well furnished had everything we needed. I enquired about if they had an air fryer and one was delivered on the Tuesday which was a great addition to the kitchen. Joyce was brilliant with any queries we had. We also enjoyed the addition of the PlayStation quiz games which provided hours of entertainment. The location is lovely and would recommend.

Thank you for a wonderful week. The holiday house was wonderful well equipped and comfortable a potato masher would be a welcome addition. The hot tub was greatly enjoyed by all and it was reassuring to see that it is regularly checked and cleaned.

Facilities provided are superb. Location is superb and the hot tub equally so. Only negative is that it could be cleaner under and around the beds, under the furniture in the lounge for example but we loved the property and would stay again.

Beautiful property and location was breathtaking. Property has an exceptionally well furnished kitchen and childrenbaby crockeryplates too. Clean and spacious throughout. Fire, hot tub and firepit loved by all. Children loved the addition of a playstation for a evening of singstargames. Alexa device present in kitchen too. Gardens well kept and fenced 90. Wouldve been ideal if fully secured for dogyoung children. Candles and torch easily located thanks to storm babet putting the power out for a short while. Fire kept us all warm. The neighbour is a gem. Called to check we were ok when the power was lost. Made sure we had everything needed and said farewell on day of departure. Furniture in main bedroom a tad datedwobbly. Decking step at side needs attention as brokendangerous. Barbed fence present on post leading around to hot tub needs removed for safety. Overall an exceptional holiday. Weather was good to us with several warm sunny days. Rain on arrival and departure days so cannot complain at that for October.

A lovely clean and spacious holiday accommodation, with gorgeous views. We explored this beautiful scenic part of Scotland and the near by sandy Bays, with the best one being a short walk from the house. Would certainly recommend and would love to return in the future.
