The holiday cottage was decorated beautifully throughout. And set in fantastic surroundings. The furnishings in every room were outstanding. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Use of the hot tub and bbq hut was a much welcomed bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at little chestnut and would love to return one day. My little granddaughter loved it that much she cried when it was time to leave.

Wonderful place to stay. Lovely and clean and very well equipped. The owner greeted us on arrival and showed us how to use the hot tub. We didnt see them again which suited us perfectly as it felt very private. We knew they were only next door and were very happy for us to make contact if we needed anything. We dont like to be fussed when on holiday, so for us this was great. Prosecco and milk on arrival was really thoughtful as were the robes and slippers. Great location for exploring and theres a coop 10 minute walk away and a esso garage even closer. Lovely peaceful location. We didnt use the barbecue hut but it looked fab. The sauna was also great! Highly recommended place to stay.

Excellent holiday house, we knew straight away it was ideal for our stay. The house embraced you in comfort in a pleasant setting. Within Muir of Ord it was convenient for petrol, Coop and bakers. Good access to Black Isle and close to Beauly. Even the weather cooperated. A delightful stay rebooked already.

Wow, an amazing property, with everything you need for a brilliant self catering stay. Ken was present on our arrival, and clearly explained the instructions of the hot tub, sauna and bbq hut. The house was very spacious, and extremely clean with quality furniture making it the most comfortable place we have ever stayed in. The downstairs shower was awesome. Hot tub and sauna were used daily, providing much needed relaxation after a busy day. The outside area was very private and well maintained. We made use of the bbq hut a couple of afternoons and enjoyed dining outside, We have stayed in quite a few holiday homes, and Little Chestnut is now our number 1. We loved coming back to Little Chestnut, it's like a home away from home as it has everything you need, this time we stayed two weeks. Ken & Theresa are very welcoming and were in contact with us through out our holiday. Theresa knocked the door to let us know that the Northern lights were out. Which was a lovely thing to see and tick of our bucket list. It was lovely coming back to the sauna & hot tub after a cold day out. And we are already looking forward to returning for our next visit.

The Hot tub so lovely to relax in & a comfortable bed to sleep in at end of days sightseeing. Cleanliness second to none!!! On arrival we were greeted by Ken, a very warm friendly man, unfortunately we didnt meet Theresa , but did communicate before our holiday, which was very helpful & informative, recommended few places to see & as everything went smoothly in the house we didnt need to bother them. We were left a lovely welcome pack which was appreciated. The garden was beautiful, pity it wasnt summertime as Im sure itll be a lovely garden to relax in! We have just spent 2 weeks staying at Little Chestnut which is the perfect holiday home. In fact is one of the best properties we have stayed in. It was quiet, private and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was also immaculately clean which has not always been the case with a couple of previous properties we have stayed in. The added extras of the hot tub and sauna were very much enjoyed especially by our teenage son. The photos on Sykes do not do this place justice. We would definitely recommend and we hope to return very soon. It is a great base for exploring the Highlands. We have had a fabulous holiday. Thank you to Theresa & Ken for such a fabulous place.

Excellent facilities, very clean, easy to checkin and a great location. Everyone friendly both on arrival and leaving the place is very private with plenty of parking and the feeling that you are on the middle of a wooded park. You have everything you need and more with the hot tub and sauna in a brilliant separate facility for all weathers. The BBQ hut was brillianl and made you feel you we on Finland.
