The Potager Reviews

Emma
The place is super peaceful, with stunning views from the lounge. Everything was spotless and well stocked too.
James
We had such a lovely stay at this cosy spot by Loch Ewe. It's peaceful and perfect for relaxing, with stunning views that change all the time. We loved stepping out for walks right from the cottage, plus exploring some nearby trails. Watching wildlife like herons, a brief otter sightingand even some stags early one morning was just magical. This was our second visit and it didn't disappoint - we're already planning to come back! Such a peaceful retreat, highly recommend!
Emma
We had such a lovely week here! The cottage was surprisingly well-equipped, with everything we needed. The views were stunning, especially the sunsetsand spotting otters in the evenings was a real treat. Definitely recommend!
James
We loved the peaceful setting and the lovely property, but it was a bit too remote for us. The weather was really bad, so we decided to cut our stay short after four nights.
Sam
We've been coming here for a few years nowand it's still our favourite spot for a quiet getaway. The place has pretty much everything we need-picnic gear, comfy chairsand the hot tub is a real treat. The best part? Sitting outside in the evening, watching otters and wildlife on Loch Ewe. Truly relaxing!
Emma
The place was lovely, with all the essentials and then some, in a truly breathtaking spot. Highly recommended!
Emma
The Potager offers stunning views, cosy and well-stocked rooms, plus a hot tub which is fantastic. We've been twice now and genuinely hope to return soon. Thanks!
Emma
We absolutely loved the Potager! It's a stunning spot with everything you could want - a lovely location and well-equipped inside. Watching otters and seals from the lounge window while soaking in the hot tub was a real highlight. We felt super relaxed, but honestly, we could've stayed for ages. Just a heads up, if you visit in winter, most places are shut, so you'll be doing a lot of cooking yourself. Plenty of shops in Poolewe and Gare Loch for food and drinks. Truly a breathtaking place!
James
The setting is truly breathtaking with views of the sea, mountainsand wildlife everywhere. Loads of lovely walks and road trips to enjoy. The log burner was perfect for cosy nights in with wine and a good book.

It would be handy if they clarified the disabled access details beforehand. Luckily, the owners were flexible and moved our booking from the Write's Retreat to the Potager without any fuss. Really appreciated their helpful attitude!
