Bothan Buie Reviews

Emma Carter
This is our second visit and we love how straightforward everything is. If you plan on cooking, bring a frying pan and fish slice - otherwise, it's super convenient with a stunning view and perfect location. Definitely worth it!
Jane
We loved the stunning views of Gairloch from the cottage. It's a perfect spot to relax after a day out exploring. The cosy place had everything we neededand the hot tub was a real treat! Heating was quick with the log burner and storage heaters. Beds were comfy, though the walk back uphill might be tricky for some. Overall, great stay!
Emily Carter
We had a lovely time at Bothan Buie! The views are stunning and perfect for walks around the area. The wood burner made it really cosy during the evenings. The upstairs is quite open, which was fine for us, but the gaps around the windows and doors made it a bit draughty-could do with an update there. We didn't realise the hot tub was out of order, so we used a Lazy Spa instead, which was fine for two. Sadly, there was no hot water during our stay, but the owner checked and couldn't fix it. Overall, we loved it, though it felt a bit pricey for what we got.
Alex
We loved the spot-stunning views over Skye and easy access to the moors. Gairloch has everything you need, from shops to cafes and beaches, all nearby. The outside space is lovely, perfect for relaxing after long walks. The hot tub was a real treat at the end of each day! It's a fantastic base for exploring Wester Rossand we had a brilliant week. Definitely recommend if you want a peaceful break with plenty to do.
Emma Taylor
Honestly, this place was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We arrived to a warm, spotless space, which was a lovely surprise. The beds were so comfyand the kitchen had everything we could ask for to cook up some cosy meals. The views are breathtakingand the hot tub was such a treat after long days. The owner was really friendly and helpful too. We definitely plan to come back-it's such a peaceful spot for a proper break. Honestly, loved every minute!
Emma Clarke
The spot's lovelyand the area's really nice, but the cottage could use some sprucing up.
Alexandra
Our stay was truly special, with stunning views and plenty to enjoy. Seeing dolphins in the bay and star gazing from the hot tub made it unforgettable. It's a peaceful spotand we'd definitely recommend Bothan Buie for a relaxing escape.

Emily
This cottage is just lovely! The customer care was excellent and the owner was really friendly. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. We will definitely return next year..
James
This cottage is perfect for a proper getaway, yet it's just a short stroll into the village. We loved the lovely views over the village and the loch! Just a heads up though, the stairs leading up to the bedroom might be a bit tricky for anyone with limited mobility since it's quite a tight squeeze at the top. On the plus side, the large enclosed area is fantastic for those travelling with dogsand we really enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day.
Emma
This cottage is so cosy and in a lovely area! There are sheep in and around the garden, which is perfect if you have dogs. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. We really loved our stay here!
Lucy
We had a lovely stay here; the place was super cosy. It was a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding area. The garden is all fenced in, so our dog had a blast! The views from the bothy were stunning and changed daily with the weather. One night was crystal clearand we really enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub!
